Sounds a bit sad, but I really like that.
As for the thunderstorm effect, it's very good and I'd insert it to the full song, cause it gives it more depth. Still, I'd make two versions for everyone to choose!

Like Galazor wrote, sometimes like christmas but with some calm passages even sounding a bit sad (btw, the scratchingly sounding instrument doesn't fit very good IMO). It's like it's sometimes not the same song, but still;
The whole song is pretty cool arranged!
